RP 547, Guidelines for ADAS Nomenclature

This Recommended Practice (RP) provides a glossary of terms for ADAS technologies available for installation in commercial vehicles. It is designed to help fleet personnel identify and cross-reference terminology associated with various technologies and their functions as well as harmonize ADAS terms for vehicle specifications and fleet maintenance.

RP 548, Technician Training for ADAS

This Recommended Practice (RP) offers guidelines for establishing training procedures for diesel technicians (and other equipment repair personnel including alignment shop technicians, tire technicians, etc.) who service commercial vehicles equipped with ADAS.

RP 1801, Selection and Specification of ADAS

This Recommended Practice (RP) offers general guidelines for the selection and specification for ADAS technologies available on commercial vehicles in North America. For specific details pertaining to a particular manufacturer’s product, consult the original equipment manufacturer’s service information.
